i tested it a few months ago, did an install then uninstall and it all went away cleanly.

It depends what version you install, its my understanding there are several versions of the same shit to try and avoid anti virus and spyware programs

i tried it on a test machine (xp sp1 IE6) a few weeks ago and had to format the machine afterwards...

i removed anything i found related to it, but for some reason it returned every single time... i found that it created a service (something like moviehost) and even after getting rid of the service, cleaning everything (host file, registry, system, services, you name it...) it seemed to be coming back...

ugh ...... sounds like sicone is right and there are different versions of it, some worse than others.
