Lensman !!!!! <--- inside now..

I have your own affiliates traffic to sell to you, or I can sell it to your competitors.

Do we have a deal ?

Keep in mind you have already said you have no choice but to comply .. so i assume this means we automagically have a deal :) :thumbsup

" . . . no choice but to comply"

I can picture that conversation. How the times have changed. :)

p.s. this thread was inspired by a direct quote by lensman, i'm not trying to call him out but it seems the industry is in a strange transition right now , so im trying to get the true opions of some of the "players" in the biz..

If the 21'st century is the "century" of adware and clickjacking then so be it but let us programmers know so we can code the nasties :)

STB man you're quite the GFYer, I'll give you that.

BTW man I wanna show you the new stuff I was talking about! Hit me up when you have time man. Thankya

i miss the good old days when everyone used to deny spamming, using spyware and shaving joins. weird times indeed. it seems like eons ago when people used to get pissed about popups and claimed they were killing the industry.

I'm actually glad you called him out on his comment as the only thing I could conclude after reading it was he must be out of the loop. He seems to want to shrug off all of the talk on the boards concerning influences negatively affecting our industry as "old news".

Screaming 03-29-2007 12:45 AM

fun thread

how about you go to the search feature and search for posts made by Lensman?

he's not madawgz, he doesn't do 100 posts daily, it should be easy to find :winkwink:

Asian Diva,

This is old news. If someone approached me and said, I have your own affiliates traffic to sell to you, or I can sell it to your competitors, and he has legal loopholes on his side, I would have no real choice but to comply. It sucks, but it's life.

Let's give Lars a break. It's old news. And let's not hijack his threads.

:-) If you ask me someone having an Adware Software for people to download and become their customer baee is like building your own internet community base market? So can anyone start offering a download to desktop software for easy access to its own channels or advertising?

hmmmm, what the next thing you know companies building their customer base by starting to offer a download on desktop to access the company? or network or community? etc.etc...

Would that company need to pay the computer makers? or Windows..Microsoft?

someone through me a bone :-))))) lol

Times are changing

V_RocKs 03-29-2007 03:31 AM

Legal loopholes?

I could swear that I read that many states and the national Congress are currently debating how to make it illegal...

If I owned one of those companies, I would be looking for an Island Nation that wants another rich guy around.

Jace 03-29-2007 03:38 AM

one more thing, it is not "old news" if it is currently happening

the zango thing appears to be being worked on

the biggest issue I have with AFF (and not even lars as a person) is the rampant use of AFF on all sites illegal...but then again I have the same issue with AdBrite, AdBrite is actually on more sites like that than AFF is, it is crazy, which is why I stopped using adbrite as well

Nicky 03-29-2007 03:38 AM

I will buy it ;)
