I suppose it would be a better idea to keep those 3000 jobs, lose millions of dollars, and hit the stockholders instead.

See there was a time before if cutting employees to raise your bottom line was considered the biggest sin a ceo could do. Then in the 80's that changed. The problem is these very short sighted businesses fail to see is , you wipe out the middle class which is slowly happening. You wipe out your own economy. The greatest growth in this country has been due to the middle class and slowly thats fading away. I personally will never shop in a circuit city again.

you do your own thing because you care about yourself. im in this business to make money for myself. i hire a filipino designer to save myself the most money possible, and i will do anything else to make the most money i can. i dont see why any other business should be different.

I once, long ago, worked for a company that got bought by a different company. The new owners had everyone fill out applications and then get interviewed in order to keep their job. It was strange interviewing for a job you have been doing for a while already.

CC is the best place to buy shit, they will match Wal-mart and Target's online prices, if you buy blu-rays or hd-dvds you can save a lot of money this way.

plus you get 10% of the difference.

you guys who give a shit about the employees continue to shop elsewhere and pay more.
