i just finished it yesterday..hehe:

01: Users Enter E-Mail Address to gain access to members area

02: An E-Mail is sent to their Address which contains a confirmation link.

03: They must confirm their E-Mail Address (which adds them to our mailing list) to get to the next stage.

04: Once they have clicked the confirmation link, their E-Mail is added to our SQL Database (mailing list) and they are sent the followup message...

05: Their E-mail is their username, and a password (8 alphanumberic long) is randomly generated, and E-Mailed to them along with the URL to download our software. Their Username/Password must be added to our .htaccess file also at this point.

05a: If person unsubscribes from our mailing list, their username/password must be removed from our .htaccess file as well.

06: They are now members. They just download and install our software, and enter their username/password for access.

07: We also need the ability for webmasters to sign up with us to promote, and be paid for each person they send us that confirms their E-Mail address.

08: We would like each E-mail Address permanantly tagged with the webmasters ID, so they we can see easily who has been refered by which webmasters etc.

09: We will also need mailing built into our admin area, so that we can send out a daily/weekly E-Mail to all members of our free site. Ideally we would also be able to queue messages in advance, to be sent at certain times.

10: We would like our webmasters to also sign up with ARS, and insert their ARS ID at the time of signup (with us) Since we will be promoting ARS sites in our daily/weekly E-Mails to our members, if a member was refered by a webmaster who has let us know his ARS ID, it should be inserted in the right place in the E-Mail, so he will get credit for any ARS sign-ups from the person he refered to our mailing list.

if it is a big job, almost overly complex and takes all year to code, then ask a fortune for it with some money up front

if it is simple and takes you 5 minutes, then ask for $10 via paypal

I know someone who can write that in 30 minutes, no less. If your planning on selling it. I'd say it's worth $20 gucks. :2 cents:

It's not that much he's asking, he just wrote it down clear.

I would say $150 - $250.

Should be 2 hours work max.

I have about 80% of that done in PHP. The only difference is that I use MySQL instead of .htaccess and PHP sessions are used to track the user within the members area. I could sell the source to you should you decide to buy it.
