I have no fucking clue. I was reading This Thread and thinking that IE7 was cool... for now. But I have always liked FireFox, just never used it on a regular basis. The functionality when using Plug-Ins like these is endless. I think I may try to switch.
FireFox - Why I don't use it...

I switched to Firefox just for reading GFY and other forums because a Ctrl + keystroke (or two) instantly enlarges the text size without distorting the page layout (usually), and makes text much more readable on my WUXGA 1920 x 1200 laptop screen with tiny print. -
Firefox is better, it catch so many trojans etc...More safe..SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

I was a Netscape user for ages until I couldn't use it anymore. I hated having to use IE and firefox feels like netscape again. So, Firefox is where I stay.Comment

i like firefox and use it most of the time.
just uploaded a new add on to it called cooliris. lets you view entire sites within the old site just by having your mouse over the link. it even lets you interact within the new site and use it.

You do understand that if FF and Macs had a larger share of the market then hackers would actually bother with them. I wish FF would be at least 40% of the market or more so you freaks would realize it isn't all the shit compared to IE and Opera.Comment

yes you are right.
Microsoft takes the brunt of that stuff because they are the most common operating system and browser.
I like Microsoft people, they take the heat for the rest of us.
you guys are brave.

Yes most common. Hmmm Linux has been free forever and easily downloadable yet cannot make any headway in usage.
FireFox supposedly so much superior, also free and easily downloadable yet is stuck at 15% of the browser market.
Think about that. There has to be a reason.
Well I'm not going to get an overpriced Mac that I'll never be able to upgrade much nor will I be using Linux.I like Microsoft people, they take the heat for the rest of us.

Of course there is a reason, 85% of the people are too stupid to know any better... most popular is often not the best...Custom Software Development, email: woj#at#wojfun#.#com to discuss details or skype: wojl2000 or gchat: wojfun or telegram: wojl2000

One of my computers has 512 and that memory leak causes me to have to reboot. So I don't have FF on there.
If IE had a memory leak that bad they'd work 24 hours a day to fix it. The FF people haven't fixed theirs in the two years or so that leak has been there. That is the downside to open source garbage. A bunch of basement coders who aren't FORCED to do anything.Comment

Firefox owns IE IMO - though I haven't used IE7. Once you get used to tabs and get the browser set up right, it is so much easier and more comfortable to browse with. Also, as far as the memory leaks go.. simply exit Firefox once every couple hours and you'll be fine. I had a stick of memory go bad a few months back and have been stuck with 384MB and have not had any trouble. Photoshop on the other hand.. I can't seem to work on something for more then 45mins without it crashing
