Anyone have trouble running wordpress blogs on servage.net???
 

I'm so fucking pissed. I have spent at least 5-6 hours trying to get this dam blog running correctly on this host and I don't know what the dam problem is. I've installed 1000's of blogs on lots of different host and never had a problem as far as I can remember.

I'm so tired I can barely think. For some reason categories dont work.(hosts 404 page). new posts dont go to categories. they just go to domain.com/postname

more problems I'll have to think of.

Is it a Fantastico install or are you doing it manually?

It's not fantastico but they have some kind of one click install for version 2.0.5. I've tried that and manually about 20 different times. Neither work right.

It's a blog I sold to someone for cheap too. That's what's pissing me of the most. I'm just trying to get it setup to run right.

YES! I'm having the exact same problem right now, its fucked up, servage + wordpress = fucked. I dont understand why but it doesn't generate the htaccess properly, atleast thats what I think the problem is, anyone got any info?

Version 2.0.5? RUN AWAY! That is rather out of date and has security issues.

umm, i will be on servage till tomorrow and i am addicted on wp, so i will let you know if similar issues will come ... or i will be back with solution :thumbsup

Yeh ive just bought 6 months of hosting from servage and the one thing i bought it for - blogs I can't even do, its a joke.

No reason it shouldn't be possible I just can't get it to work, tried loads of timesl ol
