Well... I got a bathroom to spare, but that's all I can give you. I don't know reasonable priced hotels in Amsterdam, don't live there, but I'm sure they're not all that expensive. About the English tourists... I think if you come on your own, it wouldn't be a big problem. :)

Bugger living in Amsterdam - that's just somehwere to go visit on a Saturday night so you can laugh at the other English who don't realise how strong the pot is.
