Just got in from the theatres, saw 300. Pretty good flick - massive wars, just the way I like it - and love the slow-mo killing blood splatter LOL

Yeah they didn't cut the scenes all the time.

How does it compare to braveheart?

i want to see that movie so bad! and i'm usually not into that type of movie. :) looks really good though.

that movie's pretty good, indeed... I'm gonna buy the DVD once it's out, would be a nice addition to my collection.

It reminded me more like Gladiator the way it was shot. Braveheart is more comparable though if you are talking battle scenes. Either way it was a GREAT movie in my mind. You can also catch the true stories about 300 on the History channel. It was pretty interesting. I watched it the night before I went to the movie. Made alot more sense to me after seeing the special.

300 is a movie for teenagers.

yes this movie is great if you dont take too serious the histarical mistakes of it..
But dont mind i enjoy every minutes. and yes i wait to the DVD release too ..:)

fuck ive tried seeing it three times now....every single time i ended up too drunk partyin somewhere. i guess i shouldnt attempt to watch movies on friday/saturday nights.

I don't know why but I just can't get motivated to see it. I liked Sin City a lot but this just doesn't grab me.

The movie was ok, not too spectacular imho, just ok and enjoyable. Deffinetly above average.

Im waiting for the Spartans to start complaining about how "innacurate" it is, the way these "Mayan" successors are complaining about Mel Gibson Apacolypto is not accurate.

Although Im probably the only one, I laugh when these people scream "racist" because of a movie's innacuracy.

I've seen it today also and I can't say that I liked it as much as Brave Heart, Gladiator and Patriot. But it's still a good movie though :winkwink:

the sex scene was pretty hot! didn't know doggy style was used in ancient time... lol.

I thought 300 was a great movie.
