I can understand the need for rules...

But why are they supposed to post a fan sign in the thread asking who wants one?? That requires doing 2 shoots. One just to make up 1 sign to be allowed to post the request thread and then another to fill the requests. Doesn't make sense to me..

no it requires actually having the chick there with you and it not being some spammy bullshit.

the fan sign thread should be made SAME DAY as the shoot.

Thats the rule, because things were getting out of hand.

It was made for the simple reason that a lot of people were making "who wants a fansign" thread with no intentions of making fan signs. They just made the threads to get exposure and never delivered any fansigns.

So, the rule was put into place so people actually made them, and showed they were going to.

Perhaps a rule that sign threads be made only on Thursdays and then we all know we can login on Thursday and watch for them...

CJ has done 3 MissPhoenix fansign threads IN REAL TIME.

EVERYONE who wanted one, got one, no problem.

If we at LionDollars can manage that, why can't others ?

We don't demand that peeps be affiliates, we do the obligatory signs not just for Lensman, but for others that make GFY work, we provide on time, every time.

In short we follow the RULES and actually DELIVER.

Why can't the same be expected of others if they wish to do it?

It's seriously not that hard but it does bug me that we go to the trouble of doing it right but others who don't still get to post fansign threads. I am seeing a therapist to come to terms with the unfairness of it all. :winkwink:

Although I do have to confess that I missed 1 the first time & ABC-Celebs.com are still waiting on me for their final batch of fan signs to go with their promo pack from a couple of weeks ago ... sometimes we don't shoot for a few weeks due to other commitments so we simply don't make fan sign threads unless we know we are going to be there live.

We've done one in the office with a few sets of hands which was real time, 1 in my house that was realtime and at another shoot I didn't have a computer to crop/watermark & upload so I did them that night.

With all that said though there have been some great signs done several days later ... super high studio quality not amateur like what I shoot ... it just depends how you shoot your models.
