Big Sponsors without a booth at Internext?

Who exhibeted in Vegas, but not in Florida?

I didn't see one person there from MaxCash, for example.

Florida in august is too hot.
see you in Vegas sailor. :1orglaugh

boneprone 08-12-2002 12:53 PM

Vegas in the summer is much worse than Floriday was last weekend.

Perhaps we should move the show up here to Portland so the hot weather phobics can make it

Stamm321 08-12-2002 01:04 PM

I wish the Florida convention was held in SouthBeach.. would of saved me the half hour drive everyday from the hotel room to the beach - hollywoods beach was.... invisible

Stamm321 08-12-2002 01:05 PM

and your right Boneprone - Florida is much nicer than Vegas right now.. it was 98 degrees when we finally got back... at midnight!

Yeah no doubt Florida is better than Vegas in the summer!
I go to Vegas perhaps 3-4 times each summer, and it fucking sucks! Southbeech was berfect in the summer. Laying out on the beech, the topless women, and all the fit babes EVERYWHERE!

South Beech was fucking amazing!
The Westin Really cleans up Hollywood FL.
IT was a great hotel, the rooms were much much better than I had imagined. Really nice place, and the weather was humid but it was still better than Florida. At least we could layout and swim in the ocean.

boneprone 08-12-2002 02:38 PM

One thing I did notice was the lack of dialer company presence at the show.
Only 1-2 booths this time I noticed.

I remember back when there over 10 of dialer booths every show.

LOL ya, they are rocking.

Being from Tampa, it was nice to have the show on the East coast. We just don't get that Atlantic breeze in the bay area like South Fl.

My dad lives near the Sarasota area, and that place gets some very nice breeze. That's a great fucking place to live - well, if you like to go fishing. And don't mind a lot of old people.

tallgirl 08-12-2002 03:48 PM

The whole booth deal was odd at this convention. I think it actually made companies hard to find-I needed a teleporter he he.
The Westin was great hotel although I think I got charged everytime I flushed the toilet:)
The heat for me wasn't bad at all being from Vegas and damn the humidity felt good.
The protestors were funny as hell. I was glad to find out that I was a rapist santan worshiping Devil. Repent now as the plane flew by over and over again around the hotel haha. I guess I am going to hell now.

tallgirl 08-12-2002 03:51 PM

oops think i said Santan ok meant satan-needs some sleep:)

TeraBabes 08-12-2002 05:03 PM

Damn. I would have liked to have met someone with the handle "tallgirl" at the show. Maybe next time...

Kimmykim 08-12-2002 05:08 PM

It was overcast alot so the weather was better than last years Adultdex in Miami Beach, and definitely better than the IA show in Miami a few years ago...

the whole theme of the show was not to drag out big booths -- and honestly I liked it better -- you could actually talk to people in their booths, without the normal battle of the bands going on between a few people.

finally someone agreeing with me about how USELESS it is to have noise that overpowers business conversations.

dropped by your booth kimmykim to say hello but you weren't there

RogerV 08-13-2002 07:07 PM

I totally agree the show was set up for networking not who has the biggest dick.

I think i did more business at this show than any other one.
You couldn't turn a corner without running into 10 people in the lobby

Thumbs up

Oh I completely agree on that one, the battle of the bands has me normally fleeing the floor to find a place to talk, especially in Vegas

My back didn't hold up so well this trip, getting another epidural cort in the morning, so we left early.

You shoulda called me tho, I'da sent someone out to get you a Big Mac :)

I met some French dialer people on the GFY boat.... It was hillarious because their English was bad so my friend Joe was like "We use the Jesus dialer"... lmao

2 seconds later this dude perked up, it was Bone :1orglaugh

So that's how I met Boneprone... we were proclaiming the excellence of the Jesus dialer. lol

Brad
