Pissing / Peeing (Legals and 2257 and blah)

Hi guys,

I was wondering what the legality was over pissing / peeing categories? Our lawyer told us to take down those categories if we want to push for some more mainstream categories, actually some sponsors have requested it also. I took them down but the conflict is that other sponsors are running galleries that end up in other categories anyway. I was wondering what the legals were over this? What is illegal and what isnt insofar as the US is concerned?

I am hosted in the US and im wondering if this is safe now because of 2257, or if it is not? I have probably the most comprehensive 2257 list out of most TGPs, check it out if you want :)

Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

he told you take them down because they can be considered obscene nothing to do with 2257

I don't know about the specific legalities of the watersport category, but your "2257" list has nothing to do with current law. The requirement is for the site displaying material covered by the law to hold records. There are very specific rules about what and how. A list of third-party details isn't it...

yes sorry i understand this, i was just mentioning 2257 in relation to hosting in the US. regarding the obscene problem - does that mean they are illegal in some states ? is it mandatory to have an over 18 entrance page?

You should talk to a lawyer, something being obscene can be very vague but the more over the top the more of a target you draw on yourself.
this guy is good and not money hungry:

BTW, as legality is concerned, is the location of the webmaster or the location of the server decisively?

Yes to both...

As a webmaster, you obviously do not want to be in a county that prosecutes all porn ( aka Polk County, Florida ).... Remember " that is fucked up site ....

As for hosting, as an american residing citizen I presume, the ONLY advantage is that the authorities cannot shut it down ( aside from CP and other international illegal stuff ), so you keep the income to pay for your defense or to bargain yourself out of accusations ./..

BTW, I am no lawyer, so this is my personnal opinion.
