Fastest way to grow a non adult forum?
 

Anybody out there run a non adult forum? What did you do to grow it? I've had one for a year or so now... Its growing, but not fast enough....

Any thoughts? Lets have a biz thread today on gfy... lolol

Nah, you might have been able to get away with that 3/4 years ago but these days if you want to build and sustain forum traffic you had better make sure the posts there are actually worth reading and cheaply bought blah, blah, blah posts just don't do that.

Be careful on the paid posters. We have tried a couple companies, one was very good, one really sucked.

We have about 700 members on our mainstream board, in about a month. Did it with giveaways and press releases.

i have one. just run a lot of contest that ppl can win prizes on. they love that. that brings in the crowds.
