i was thinking about this the other day... to put this into perspective, his mother was feeding him 2-3 times his total daily caloric requirements for his entire life.

she's obviously a sick woman... the fact that her 7 year old weighs 250 pounds is fairly good proof of that. i dont know why she would be expected to be honest in this situation, particularly when she is getting national attention and being accused of child abuse. on top of that, obese people are always the first to deny the facts and rationalize the reasons for their obesity.
