British Man Commits Suicide Live On Webcam

A fellow chat-room user called police after a Shropshire man committed suicide live on webcam. Police were called to the residence of Kevin Neil Whitrick, from Wellington in Shropshire.

After resuscitation attempts failed, Mr Whitrick was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was confirmed as hanging.

According to his ex-wife, he was involved in a very serious car accident and had never really recovered. At the time of his death, Mr Whitrick was father to 12-year-old twins.

Refresh my memory. How did he do it? I can't imagine an lsd trip alone being so bad that you off yourself. But I'm no expert.

Are we talking about the same thing? I was talking about the British guy who did it on cam...not the IRC guy. Just to do it on cam for people to see seems like he was crying out for attention. Still feel bad for him and anyone else who chooses to take their life though.

There should be a law against inciting someone to suicide via the internet.

I agree. The law should read: "If you are stupid enough to kill yourself on the internet, or to let people convince you to do so, then you will be automatically executed if you do not succeed."

He even asked me to go to that webcam show. A lot of people I know were watching live. A friend from Austria knows nothing about prescription drugs who was watching, otherwise he would have called me. I had the kid's mom's phone number.

Sorry for bitching, I just hate when people post things like this without really knowing Brandon.

He did a shitload of prescription RX drugs that his parents got for him, being in an extreme state of denial about his mental and physical state. It just happened amongst some of his peers on The Shroomery irc chat room.

i knew of a family that had the loss of their only teenage son to suicide. two weeks the father hung himself in the home. the mother began drinking heavily.

damn, that's very sad...bout that guy ripper, he's just crazy...damn why do some people commit suicide in front of cams, that can bring trauma to the people who watches them..:(
