My Upgraded Home Office
 

Since I"m working from home now I've decided to upgrade my home office from the ground up..... two new Dell computers, two new 22 flat screen monitors, and a new laptop (with Vista on it), and a Skype phone. Pretty neato.

good luck with the vista man. i fucking hate that shit. i want to buy another laptop and now i cant get a fucking laptop with xp on it. we just bought one of the girls in the office here a new gateway and that fucking vista shit fucked with me on everything that we have to do to get her on the internet, on the network, and there are way too many changes and actual layout issues. looks pretty, but its a bitch of a learning curve.

remember the old days when you could say what OS you wanted when you ordered the damn thing. Now your fucked!

In my office i have the Cable hooked right to the s-video on one of my 20" monitors .. it's nice I can watch PIP or full screen. But at the Home office I have a 42" plasma in my office. But I also have a love seat with double lounge chairs built in. So it's more of a 2nd movie room for my wife and I.

But a nice 32" would look nice to the left of your desk were that picture is ..

Dell is selling at least one model that allows you to buy XP. Might be more but that's what I ran across when I was looking: XPS M1710

I haven't had a drop to drink since Christmas....... In fact, it was the last time I saw you here at my house. The Jager machine is in the closet.

Don't worry - I won't disappoint at Phoenix Forum.

I'm liking it so far. The laptop is mostly for travel so I haven't used it much - Only for ICQ, email, and general surfing. It's hooked up to my wireless network with no problems.

Works for me so far.
