Messy people = more productive
Just read it here
http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...2105584,00.asp It seems interesting however there are no facts, just quotes from people. From your experience does being messy make you more productive? |
i call BS.
your house/office/room is like a mirror to your soul |
I think being extremely neat isn't necessary.. but honestly if you are unorganized/messy with business or websites.. you will waste more time and money.

I tend to agree, especially if you're one who does work as a writer or an artist. You have to constantly make a "mess" to be able to come up with something viable. :-)
|
Being messy and being filthy or disorganized really can be different things. My house gets messy fast because there's 5 people here not to mention animals, and who has time to pick up every 10 minutes? But it's clean and I do a full housecleaning once a week. Sometimes it's easier to have things accessible.
|
actually, I think that messy people are indeed more productive, because their concentration level is so high, that they don't get up from their chairs to throw away something, and don't waste time cleaning up.
|
If being more productive includes the act of sorting through tons of crap to find everything you need to do the job... then yes, I suppose it could be true.
As opposed to the organized folks who work less cause everything is ready to go. Hmmm... |
As long as I keep my computer organized, the rest of the world can be messy for all I care.
