Family Emergency & THANK YOU to Autoblogger Pro Users
I haven't been sharing this very widely, but my step father just had a heart attack. It was completely unexpected, especially considering his near-optimal physical shape (at 64, he runs every day and has competed in countless marathons throughout his life) and amazing health-conscious eating habits.
As some of you know, I recently moved from Connecticut to North Carolina to live on Lake Gaston and relax a bit more than Connecticut might otherwise allow.
Needless to say, when I heard of his heart attack, I returned to Connecticut. We are, of course, in the middle of the Bliggo beta-testing and an Autoblogger Pro cycle, but I don't think anyone would find it strange that my family took priority.
In the past, we've received countless threads, e-mails, and ICQ's complimenting our support, and I've been proud of that track record. However, while I've been traveling, tickets have sat for up to half a day in some cases before being read and addressed. I was worried that I'd see some consternation from our users, but EVERYONE has been extremely supportive and understanding. Our ticket back-log is now clear, incidentally.
I want to say a special "thank you" to everyone who purchased Autoblogger Pro in the past week. Coming home after a mentally and physically exhausting trip to THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of dollars in new orders is really nice. Thanks a bunch guys, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone builds with their new copies of the software.
Our users rock, and I wanted to thank you all.
Incidentally, this trip highlighted something else that is worth a mention: I do enjoy talking to many of you on ICQ, but lately when I log on, I'm inundated with messages and people trying to get in touch with me about deals, sites, ABP, etc., and it's almost impossible to respond in a timely fashion. If you have an Autoblogger Pro SUPPORT issue, please use the ticket system, and not ICQ, as I don't often check my personal ICQ and it's very difficult to get in touch with me that way. Thanks much.
