seriously i get 20 of these fuckin fake ass cute girl profiles a day from people like this.:mad: :mad:

think about it. we always bitch from an industry standpoint that the government is always on our shit, but yet we see people coming here to look for software to mass add what are basically mini portals to adult content to a network that is predominantly occupied by people under the age of 18.

i got news for ya, myspace isnt that popular with adults in scale to how many kids have them compared to how many adults have them.

this kinda shit ruins the intention of the network and for the value of the traffic coming out of it and what it really makes, it does more damage to something that should be left well enough alone.

leave it to the adult business to ruin something else valuable to the internet.

Well, I am sure it had great intentions, but I don't understand the infatuation adults have with it.

myspace was amazing,

these things ruined it for me
1) the shitty bands who auto add you who think they are good.
2) all the porn.
3) all the shitty profiles that fuck up my broswer because some 16 year old cant code html and they try and load 40 youtube videos.
4) girls are more interested in getting new picture comments than meeting you.
5) people expect you to read their bulletins.


still i log on myspace everyday and i still like to enjoy it somewhat, so if u dont like it, lump it.

You can avoid most of that if you go into your account setting and change a few things.

By spamming porn and webcams all over myspace people are only further perverting the image of the porn industry. Whether or not you think porn is good or bad, its what the general public feels about porn that will control the industry. (The only reason .XXX came out is because people (children) keep stumbling on to porn they weren't necessarily looking for). Marketing porn/cams thru myspace to unsuspecting children/young-adults is just going to get you thrown into the "online pervert" category with most folks and will hurt the industry.

The velvet donkey had an account that I was thinking about using to stay in contact with different members of the industry. I primarily snatched her up to buttress trademark. I never have sent an invite to anyone not in the entertainment industry. Great points, though. Because of this thread I cancelled the senior donkey's account. Thanks for your input. :)

The only thing My Space is good for, is DJ pages with free music, and new mixes.
Other than that, I hate to say it, but I judge women differently if they bring up My Space, or the fact that they have a page there.

To be fair, when mass adding profiles you can specify any of the standard Myspace profile options as search criteria, such as age. Unless the profile owners are setting their profiles to 18 when they are younger than that, they shouldn't get any links to any porn, or at least I don't know why a spammer would bother with someone underage when it's just that easy to filter.
