Im being transfered!
 

Well the Doctor came and told me that I would be getting transfered today to the other less medical place. That part is good and hopefully this will also equal better food.

Now the pisser, I have no damn idea what so ever if my just purchased wireless broadband connection will work there. I may end up on dial up for a month or so. :Oh crap At least I have another 5 days to cancel my wireless contract I entered into. Though I REALLY do not want to have to deal with dial up. Hell this wireless is bad enough as it is and it is at 1.5 mb/ 256k (though that is about 10 times slower than my home connection). I can not fathom dial up again. :helpme

last time i saw dialup was at smithsonian museum in DC...

I got like sick and had an infection move to one of my bones. So alas I been in the hospital for the last week or so. They are now moving me to a rehab style place (physical therapy type rehab, not the hollywood starlette type rehab) for me to finish up my IV antibiotics treatment. Reason for move is that it would be safer (less bugs), provide me better service (they good with gimps), and is less costly (medical stays are expensive enough).

I hope it is more comfortable in the end where you are now.

Right now it is not that bad (aside from food). I have a private room, nice view (aside from that icky palm tree), high speed internet, and a very solid and noise blocking door.

What is to come is a mystery.:(

Perhaps have someone with the same company go there and test it out before you get locked in.

Right now it is clear wire. Sprint doesnt cover my area, nor does verizon, nor does any other cellular company.

Thanks again. Right now though I am doing ok and just keeping busy by getting work done, despite feeling like shit of course.

ASM. I dont know what city/country you are in, but maybe you can get the local phone/cable company to do a ( Look what we did ) thing. Push them, that you are in the hospital, and need the connection. Maybe they will do something for you

Ok broadband works but is very fickle and spoty at times going in and out. I think I have one bar if that.

prior to the transfer, put in all your requests, private room with view, hi speed already connected or at least ordered, extra pillow if you want, and of course, you have a special menu to choose from :)
