This sucks, try not saying umm when you speak on the phone
 

Somebody pointed out to me that I say umm a lot when I talk on the phone. Now I am 100% aware of it and I get totally distracted trying to avoid the damn word.

I hate phones. I try use them as little as i can...

I have had one phone call in the past 3 days and I told him to email me

We had to do that for speech class in high school. Five minutes speaking about an off-the-fly topic without saying um. I had potato. No problem.

I also laugh when I scroll through the voice mail and 90% of the messages start out with 'hey there'. Annoys the crap out of me for some reason. Then again almost everything annoys me to some degree.
