ePassporte's ''Electron Card Annual Fee''

Virtual Card XXXXXXXXXXXXX619 Mar 2008 Normal Online Use Only
Visa Card XXXXXXXXXXXXX352 Mar 2008 Normal Swipe/ATM Use Only

Virtual 17 Mar 2007 Electron Card Annual Fee $-35.00
Virtual 17 Mar 2007 Virtual Card Annual Fee $-5.00

Why do they deduct the fees when my card doesn't expire untill next year?

:)

Jace 03-18-2007 02:13 AM

it is $40 total now??? jesus christ!

I went to load money in a few days ago to pay someone, not only is there a 7 day wait on loading money in, but they had the nerve to try and charge me $40 for the load! hahahahaha...whateva, I just sent the dude a fedex money order instead, cheaper and more reliable

Pimpin_J 03-18-2007 02:13 AM

They need money in the bank :)

V_RocKs 03-18-2007 02:15 AM

I dunno... But since my account has a few grand in it that might be why I don't notice...

It's a ANNUAL fee, dummy. As in EVERY YEAR ( in your case March ) you have to pay a ANNUAL fee. Have you gotten your ANNUAL fee taken out befoer this yet?

BlueWire 03-18-2007 02:43 AM

Their transaction fees are the lowest int he industry BY FAR...

...up front annual fee is no biggie :2 cents:

en21 03-18-2007 02:44 AM

I get charged about $4 a year for the account
and $12 every 4 years for a card.

Adultnet 03-18-2007 03:40 AM

this cost you every year of use.
(Applied once every year after the account creation date)

PunkRockXXX 03-18-2007 03:41 AM

fuck ePassporte

epass = greedy

he-fox 03-18-2007 03:43 AM

with transfers at 0.25$ a pop, 35$ annual doesn't seem much to me.

but, hey, some people want it for free. You can't blame them.

martinsc 03-18-2007 03:47 AM

35$ seems to be fair enough...

Its an annual fee so its $5 per year for the virtual card and $35 for the Electron card.

qwe 03-18-2007 01:41 PM

with $0.25 per transfer please SHUT THE FUCK UP....$40 a year is more then fair

Rui 03-18-2007 01:45 PM

You must have one hell of a shitty bank.

My Visa is $50 CAD a year. I get 2% cashback, several different insurances including car rental insurance (saves me $25 - $50 when I rent a car) and no transaction fees.

madawgz 03-18-2007 01:50 PM

i find it pretty fair, not a big price to pay

ANNUAL means EVERY YEAR. Doesn't matter how long the card is good for.
Your card could be good for 10 years, if they charge an ANNUAL fee then EVERY YEAR you will get charged that fee.

The most expensive one is the American Express cc/account...go figure eh? :1orglaugh

Good to know your bank is cheap but its not like im going to open an account on it or something (your post gave a "in your face" vibe :winkwink: )

pornguy 03-18-2007 02:04 PM

As far as Epass, it is the cost of doing business. As far as banks. Fuck banks. Go credit union.

flashfire 03-18-2007 02:08 PM

their annual fee is fair, fees are way less than paypal overall

emjay 03-18-2007 02:17 PM

Epassporte is not 100% perfect and neither are the banks, but for me the convienience of being able the move money instantly for 25cents and access my money via ATM make it a great product in my book.

I just hope Mallick & Co. remain solvent...
