Nothing wrong with Castro :thumbsup They just tell you that in US text books because you tried to take over Cuba and failed. Then when the ties were cut off that's when poverty problems started happening down there, so you can't blame those on Castro either.

Yea Castro has done great things for Cuba.. I guess that's why there are probably more Cubans living in Miami than in Cuba..

DeadFidel 03-17-2007 09:45 AM

You people are getting the idea at all. It's not about fucking Castro..he's been dead for 3 months..wake up!

It has to do with the USA accepting cash/oil at such a cost from a known dictator to help us, while our own government is spending 17 million dollars per day, just to have young men that don't want to be there die for a lost war.

Shit I have to spell everything out?

SteveO..not that you care, but I lost respect for you.

Population of Cuba : 11,382,820 (July 2006 est.) https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications.../print/cu.html)

Quote:

The population of Miami was 362,470 in 2000. In 2004, it was estimated at 379,724.

According to the 2000 census, whites constituted 66.6 percent of Miami’s population; blacks, 22.3 percent; Asians, 0.7 percent; Native Americans, 0.2 percent; and people of mixed heritage or not reporting race, 10.2 percent. Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders numbered 130 at the time of the census. In recent decades the Hispanic, and especially the Cuban, population in Miami and the metropolitan area has grown rapidly. Hispanics, who may be of any race, made up 65.8 percent of the city’s people.

kektex 03-17-2007 11:37 AM

Anyone who supports Chavez or Castro clearly has no idea what they are talking about and just Love him because he is a loud Bush critic.
Chavez is the same as Bush, only that he is a "socialist"according to him.
If he is so much against the U.S and the war in Iraq why does he still supply them with oil that fuels the planes and tanks the U.S is using?
Dont get me wrong, I dont like Bush at all. But Chavez is just an autocratic populist driving my country to hell quickly.

Not a whole lot, but I did stay at a holiday in express last night :thumbsup

Castro did some shitty things, but also established public health care and education in Cuba. Bush has a lot more blood on his hands than Fidel, and Fidel has been ruling a country for almost 50 years.

Yep, living under Fidel is great.Thatīs why people risk their lives in little rafts to reach miami from Cuba.
Did you know Fidel tried to export his so-called revolution to Africa by sending militias over there? How many people died there because of him?
The worst thing about Chavez supporting Fidel is that the bastard in the 60īs also sent his communist militias to Venezuela and actually killed around 60 venezuelan soldiers here in OUR soil.
And this traitor called Chavez is now giving away our country to that fucker.

Most people canīt or wonīt try to escape to the U.S because the family they leave behind faces reprisals from the government.
You would be amazed at the number of cuban doctors that have been sent here to Venezuela from Cuba that have escaped. The ones they catch are sent back to Cuba and jailed.
Thatīs Fidelīs democracy for you.

The guy says heīs anti-capitalist but he still gave the concessions to all the natural gas fields here to all the big american companies. Why didnīt PDVSA take them??
Anyone who falls for his BS is blind.

warlock5 03-17-2007 01:16 PM

$400 million of oil to the US's poor? I think you need to double check those numbers.

The price of oil combined with the dissasembly of Venezuela's private industries has given him the money to do a lot of things. Suprisingly, even Chavez is running a deficit. If the price of oil continues to climb, he will probably be alright. Theres a good chance he could be a life-long dictator like Fidel and annoy the shit out of the US for the next 4 decades. If the price of oil sinks, I'd get the fuck out of Venezuela fast.

kektex 03-17-2007 01:20 PM

I dont think the oil price is going down any time soon, but Chavezīs incredible spending spree around the world to buy support (argentina for example) is going to give him problems soon.
Inflation here is rising and right now there are many basic products like meat, beans and sugar that are hard to find because he is driving the producers out of business.
I think that the same people that voted for him are going to topple him, but it might take a while yet.
