NHL Stanley Cup

When does this actually take place ??

I watch hockey games over here, but don't know too much about how many games get played in a season etc.

I bet on most the live games we get on tv here. Gonna place my bets just now on 2 teams who i think could win the cup, before the odds get cut down.

Who's your pick so far ??

:pimp

82 regular season games are played. Playoffs start in about a month. Four rounds, best of 7 each round. A team could have to play anywhere from 16- 28 playoff games to win the Cup

Cheers.

Why is it some teams are playing each other a few times in a row just now ??
Or does that happen a few times throughout a regular season ??

Teams in the same division play eachother 8 times durring the regular season. often the NHL schedules those games at the end of the season to
generate more interest. Often times the NHL schedules what is called "back to back" games in which teams play at each others home ice on consecutive days.
