DESIGNERS Attenetion Here.

I need a simple mainstream design.

I have put a contest on adultdesigncontest.com

$300 to the winner. And $50 to the runner up.

View the contest here

Payment will go instantly to the winning design from the sites escrow account which I have already paid into.

This is a design that shouldn`t take too much time away from your current projects, so take a look.

As of now their aren`t any entries, I have just put up the contest.

TheBootyReview 03-16-2007 09:23 AM

Feel free to hit me up on ICQ if you have any questions.

TheBootyReview 03-16-2007 11:18 AM

Still looking for a few more people to send their designs, contest ends wednesday.

LilBro 03-16-2007 11:41 AM

great contest....Good Luck!!!

Twisted Dave 03-16-2007 12:15 PM

I can't be bothered to enter these kinds of contests ... since the clients needs are more that what's usually placed on the table. I'd rather take on a job and spend a day or two working direct with the client to get the best design they can get from me. But... good luck!!! :)

LittleSassy 03-16-2007 05:29 PM

will take a look on that :thumbsup

It is allowed to work with the client through the contest and refine the design to what I am looking for. I will remain in contact with all of the designers that enter the contest so that they know exactly what I am looking for a have a greater chance to win, those who don`t communicate with me, will most likely acheive what I am looking for based on the specs alone, but we will see what turns out.

Yeah, but in all honesty, it's still a lot of time put into a project for that money. But as I say man ... good luck :)

Well you had my attention, till I seen the word contest...

Like twisted said established designers do not play around with contest!

Good luck to you with it though!

That is right, and there is nothing wrong with it either, we started out doing contest as did most, I do not think twisted was being a greedy jerk, it is plain and simple when you are a honest design firm (don't even need to be good) you have more clients lined up then you can handle and there honestly is no time to enter contest....

TheBootyReview 03-17-2007 02:03 PM

I appreciate all of your comments.

All of you who have began designing, remember to get your rough copies in so that I can revise them. So if they need any changes you can do them before the contest ends. Thanks.

I think you could ask any of my clients to find out how 'greedy' I am. Considering I put WAY more time into most projects than I quote for. I'm FAR from greedy. I earned a LOT more working as a lead designer/artist in the videogames industry... I gave that up for this. I do this because it's something i enjoy more. If I wanted to earn more money than probably most of the adult industry designers, I could go back to videogames. I'd earned my position from working near a decade there.

So yeah, I think your two cents are quite pointless :)

what a stupid thing to say.

a designer is greedy because they want to be paid for a job?

contests are for clients who have no idea what they want and want to choose from a selection of work without having to pay for it. good for practice for newbie designers, but why would an established designer with clients want to work for free?

idiot.

Bump for a good guy- bootyreview is great people.

Verbal 03-17-2007 06:55 PM

I worry about the design you will receive from designers who are desperate enough to enter contest for a chance to 'earn' $300 for a project that should be worth at least $500+ from any decent, reliable designer. I fear that in the end you will receive a design (original or plagiarized) that you will be completely unsatisfied with.

There are plenty of "good" designers who are boobs in business and could not get a client any other way. (sir, yes sir, yes sir, sir)

The problem is, once you find a good boob, he always wants "contest" type money for regular projects. You are better off using iWeb.

youre the idiot. what im saying is that twisted illustration is saying "oh yeah blah blah to your site but i have no time etc etc"

Why dont just he say "oh good luck with your contest" and then fuck off? Seems like saying oh i have no time coz its only $300!

And you are the idiot not me. + youre an asshole :winkwink:

TeenCat 03-18-2007 01:58 AM

oh guys, my entry was done in 4hours, so if trying is not worth the $300, im really sad of you... lol :2 cents:

TheBootyReview 03-18-2007 10:13 AM

I received a few entries that haven`t posted yet. Still working with the designers to get the end product that is perfect for my site.

Well, I'm sorry, but I did NOT say anything offensive... I DID say good luck. And I put my point across. However... you ARE an idiot :) Don't judge me man. You have no clue.
