Shaving tips

Is it possible to get a shave as close as when you go AGAINST the grain, but WITH the grain ?

Not sure if it makes any sense so I'll try and explain more.

Until recently I was first shaving with the grain then against and final result was baby butt smooth skin... and tons of irritation. I gave up the against the grain but now the end shave isn't so great.

I'm wondering if I can improve on the tools ( Gillete 5 blades + Clarins shaving cream ) or technique in order to have smooth skin just by shaving with the grain.

What are you guys using and how close is your shave ?

No matter what i use or what way i shave, i always get the irritation the next day or two.

Pain in the ass...

I suck at shaving and my facial hair grows in all different directions anyway. This would also interest me.

"shaving" is a bad topic around here

That being said, rinse your blade with hot HOT water.

only take X % at first to see if they notice. and if they dont, you can slowly increase X over time.

also its best not to start right off jump, as alot of people just try sponsors out to see how they do.. so wait for atleast a week.. if they are still sending traffic.. you can go from there.

best of luck to you on your new program.

what i do is only shave like once a week. its much eaiser against the grain. i use the thing with 5 blades, i dont know what its called.

but probably more importantly i lack facial hair. i have more hair on my ass then my face... sad, but sure helps to pick up young chicks

lately I've been using hot water with a few drops of sage oil as a pre-soak with a wash cloth . . .I relax and try and get 3-4 min of that .. . then I use a shaving brush with regular 'good, clean conditioned soap' in a cup . . lots of really hot water and whip up a lather . . then brush the foam onto my face . . then I shave with the 3-5 blade vibrating shaver . . . best shave I've ever had . . just shave real slow and let the vibrating blade do the work -bmb

Are you supposed to use cold water once you are finished shaving ?

have more hair on my ass then my face..

Then you should be waxing your bum, and using an electric shaver on your face. Cool water - not aftershave- and a light moisturizer will help with that burning effect and lessen bumping up.

And even though it hasn't been asked ...

Dry shaving the balls is most effective.

I shave a little bit against the grain but not enough to irritate my skin . .the main thing with those multi-vibrating blades is to go slow and steady I think . . you can feel the blades working . . try it out a see . . another small thing . . the shaving brush and hot foam really gets the soap down in yer skin unlike the gel crap . . it's a winning combo for me . .
