Anyone know of any sites that offer content by the picture.

I just need a few for my design, not interested in buying a whole set.

Anyone know anything like this?

We dont have sets by the picture, but you can get a whole set for only 1 penny. Just thought you might be interested.

Problem is you want it for $1-5, with little prospect of buying more. Guess some of us are not that desperate.

My license gives you the right to use a certain percentage of photos from the sets you buy for use in site design, banners, etc. Buying photos from me one at a time would be the dumb way to do it.

Amazing... desperate board spammer and begging for help one day, big headed asshole a few short months later..

I asked you guys the other day on ICQ a similar question to this guy above is asking, cep't I wanted a LOT of photos.. not just $1-5 worth, and you said you didn't break up sets..

I was fine with that, and decided I'd just go ahead and buy a whole bunch of sets even though I have no use for the nudes
for this personal project they were being purchased for..

6 years in, 1500 hand picked photo sets, several hundred thousand photos purchased, and finally found the first content provider that didn't go that extra inch to make a buck..

guess who's bookmark and 'sets to buy' list just got deleted..

I see both sides of this argument. Since it takes just as much time to process the license on one photo as on a set (in fact, as it's an exception, it might take more time), and since this use devalues the photo in question quicker than burying it way down deep in an archive of 10,000 or 100,000 pics, the photographer is justified in asking extra for the damage you're going to do to the pic. So, what one is asking when one wants a photo out of a set is a favor, and not just a small one. What I didn't hear was what was offered in return for this favor?

If a magazine were to call me up and want to use a single photo, I'd probably charge them as much as Charly wanted or even more. What makes this situation so different?

In my case, i didn't want 1 photo..
I wanted all the the non-nude photos from a whole shitload of sets,
(for a non-adult site) and was more than willing to pay for them.

For the 'favor' of buying his content, I offered to more than make up for it by buying even more content for use on client designs/members areas.

as for his tidbit above...
$50 for what would be a $0.10 photo if you bought a whole set.. for web use, doesn't make too much sense from the purchaser side of things..

if anyone else has lingerie/swimsuit/underwear/non-nude content for sale, either by cd/set/photo..

Well, that is not what Matty said. It sounded like he wanted onesy-twosy photos from producers who are set up to sell photos in bulk. It would be like going to the movie theatre and asking if the guy behind the counter would let you pick out individual kernels of popcorn. If he did this for you, he should get a big tip, right?

There are photographers who take and sell individual photos, but most of the content providers here are set up to sell their photo like popcorn (cheap per piece). But when you want the right to select the popcorn, the price of popcorn goes up!
