we've done lots of research before switching to a higher resolution, the data we gathered was very conclusive. About 5-10% of the surfers going to the tours use 800x600 res, and less than 2% of buyers use such resolution. Those surfers are an insignificant part of our market. We determined it is better to focus on converting the 98%, than reducing the quality of our product for the sake of the 2%.

We take such factors very seriously, we try to make everything optimal, we try to gain competitive advantages on all points....including resolution.
