Affordable desktop machines for cutting video
 

Hey folks,

I'm looking to purchase 4 machines for splitting up large videos into segments with any given software (we've got several SW options)...anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking of building, but thought I'd check in here to see if anyone knew where I could get a bulk discount as I'd be buying other workstations (photoshop, video editing, etc.) that would be a bit beefier for the tasks required. Dell is probably 1st runner up, any suggestions/URLs/recommendations other than Dell?

You don't need an expensive super computer for tasks like that. I would suggest saving some money and checking the Dell Outlet online for refurbed or scratched and dented computers. I got a Pentium D dual core Dell pc worth approx $2300 when it was introduced, a few weeks later from the outlet online for about $800 bucks.
