blog plugin gurus , a little help here ?

Ok, so i have installed the newest version of wordpress and am trying to install the plugin feedwordpress but for some reason after uploading it i simply can not follow the steps 3 + 4..

Log in to the WordPress Dashboard and activate the FeedWordPress plugin. Go to Options ?> Syndication to set up initial settings for the syndication link category (?Contributors?) by default and the RPC secret word (blank by default, but you should probably set it to something.)

Set up your links for syndication through the WordPress Dashboard using Links ?> Syndicated or Links ?> Import and set global options however you want them using Options ?> Syndication.

The problem is that i can not find syndication anywhere under options and cant find links under the dashboard.. so what am i doing wrong here ?

first time playing with this script and up till this point it went fine..

First you have to activate, then you'll see it under options. To activate a plugin, you have to go to the Plugins tab first and press Activate.

it is auto activated.. or at least the status is activated under plugins. without me doing anything but loggin into the admin..

WP 2.1.1 (and 2.1.2) and FeedWordPress 0.981 is a bit wonky. During the set-up it does look like it is a bit fucked up and not working, but, if I actually go back and 'save options' once I have added a new feed, it works fine.

Hopefully FWP 0.99 won't be too far away.
