holy shit dude - your forgetting that the majority of posters here have no clue that he was in a band before wings much less heard of that rumor from over 30 years ago. I'm 46 and even back then I knew it was bullshit. they would have announced his death and made a shitload more money from the royalties of record sales as people bought up the record stocks in remembrance.

and also why the hell would the remaining beatles ever consider doing a record with him after john's death if they knew he was a fake... would have come out sooner or later.

I didnt know where to look - it was a funny situation for me - I just stared at the floor which was probably worse than if I had just said 'Hi' and got out the lift.

I actually did a paper in college on this topic.

This picture has 3 clues regarding Paul's death.

Can you figure out what they are?

Oops..thats right.. 4 clues..however.. you are only right on two of the 3 above, the fact that he is smoking is NOT a clue, however one of the 4 clues IS related to Paul smoking in this picture. However, the clue is NOT that he is smoking and the others are not.

I will just tell you...

1. He is barefoot.
2. It's not that he is smoking, it's that he is smoking with his right hand, he is a leftie.
3. He is barefoot.
4. The license plate on the VW.... 24IF Paul would have been 24 IF he were alive at the time that picture was taken. I believe the top line is WB or something like that..to make it Would Be 24 If. I cant remember what the top line is.

I am right handed. When I used to smoke I used my left hand to smoke so that I could use my right hand to wield a pen, answer a phone, use a stick shift, etc...

Paul was born in 1942, which means he would have been 24 in 1966, well before Abbey Road was released and the rumors started

Actually..I stated it wrong.

The VW license plate is a clue. The rumor was that he died and was replaced in 1966. When he was 24. That is where the license plate is relevant.

Or maybe the license plate says 28..I dont even remember now, it was in 1981 that I did this paper.
