Not bad.. needs some fine tuning to look a bit better but that said its alot better then I could ever do..

It was until DC Comics bought the rights to them through WildStorm. I read "The Return", since I used to be a big fan as a kid, and it's pretty dark now. This is the last page of the first issue where the thunderkittens are all grown up and enslaved by mumm-ra: Twisted, huh?

Great pic. What I always remember about that cartoon is that Lion-O was as young as the Thunderkittens, but later he grew up while they stayed young. I never did figure out why that was ...

Yeah, me too. For some reason, I want to say there was a malfunction in his capsule, but I really don't know where I would have gotten that...

Nope, and that would have made much more sense. Instead of there being a malfunction he just "aged" inside the stasis chamber during the trip. Nobody is surprised when he's full grown either... except maybe for that little fucking furball that he always hung out with, Snark or whoever.
