Want to know just how st00pid people can be? Talk to any 911 operator
A 9-1-1 operator was interviewed earlier today, and a few comments from that interview were read on the radio about an hour ago, and all I can say is... fuck are people ever stupid.
Apparently dozens of people called in today to 911 emergency to ask what time it is, because of the early time change. Yeah, it's such a brain strain figuring out that you have to put your clocks ahead one hour today. Several people call in every week to ask What time it is even without the time change. They get several calls per week of people wanting to report a missing pet, if the weather will be good enough to travel, and even to report that their kids won't eat their dinner! The word brain-dead just doesn't seem to quite cut it. These people are of course quite oblivious to the fact that they could be putting someone else's life at risk by taking up the 911 operator's valuable time. 911 operators should be empowered to make a judgement call on calls like this, and if they deem it a needless (useless) call they record the person's number and add a fine to their phone bill. Getting slapped with an extra $100 or so for making these kinds of stupid calls to 911 might serve to wake a few retoids up I should think. Okay, rant over. Your turn... |
I agree, these people should be punished for their stupidity.

I remember back in the day I liked to read the police log from my home town. To see who was retarded or see if I knew anyone going to jail.
So the one that stood out to this day was some old lady calling the cops because she just seen a man driving down the road and had his window down and by god that evil malicious son of a bitch flicked his cigarette ash out the window... Bookem Danno, Cuffem and Stuffem! |
