Why don't most programs have this simple feature?

I was going through a few programs today and noticed that almost all of them don't have a feature I would think is basic and standard:

A "Payment History" page.

Why wouldn't you have this? It's very easy to have and I think affiliates find it very useful to see when payments were sent out by what method, for what amount and covering what period.

I just assumed everyone had one until today. Strange.

Anyhow my free advice for the day is to programs who don't, implement one soon. Your affiliates will probably thank you and it can only build trust. :2 cents:

Seriously... I know a few that do and it makes accounting and reconciliation much easier. Those that don't, get this feature setup please!

Any program using nats has that...

I saw a recent thread that said NATS has a payments.php URL. It worked on the programs where I tried it. So, for NATS programs you can do that even if they don't provide a link.

Yup exactly... From what I know only WildCash has it disabled.

And why sponsor NEVER had a decent recurring stat? They just show recurring but they never split them in 1st month recurring, 2nd month reccuring, etc etc

It is really usefull to understand how long people renew the signup...

Now that would be great, some kind of "subscriptions" report like CCBill but better. I would love to see NATS improve their system...

If they are using NATS just type in payments.php and it will display it.

I know several companies that DO have it. I guess I haven't really paid that much attention though.

I like to be able to calculate my earnings for the current month, or year, but thats about all I need.

I have been doing a lot of moving from state to state the last few years and had put in several changes of address. Atop all that, I have been forced in and out of full time web work due to these moving expenses and whatnot.

My sites have always been up, and sometimes sponsors don't do so well and I forget about galleries/freesites etc. that I have laying around that were submitted and forgotten.

I have had the joy of several surprise checks. I often wonder if I get more surprise checks perhaps from sponsors I haven't visited for some time. A quick login and search through stats lets me know in most cases if I have had any sales. I think a payment history would help speed up the process, and I believe there should be a status query as well, letting you know if the check had been recieved, cashed, and cleared... or if it is still hanging. This way we could request new checks. Of course, I am sure unclaimed/uncashed affiliate funds makes for a big part of these companies profit margins.
