Unaware Webmasters Loosing Money
There has been quite a few threads lately on codec installers and how they are affecting sales by redirecting traffic through infected toolbars in surfers computers. This has been refered to as (Zango all over again)!!!!
As webmasters this could mean alot of lost sales to our buiss if we dont do something, within the last 24 hours this has affected many unaware webmasters and it will keep growing in number until it is resolved. As a webmaster you should no that lost time is lost money DONT DELAY.................. Please post here with suggestions and help everyone rise above this! |
One idea could be some sort of basic front page to warn surfers as to this traffic redirection. Also by alerting them to harmful viruses and such.
If Everyone made one of these, this could help weed out the problem. It also seems that this problem is almost invisible to webmasters as it will not affect stats only your sales. It also seems that alot of sponsors are aware of this but are non caring as to release any info to webmasters. A sale is a sale. But I assure you it will not be your sale. |
