Dear CCBILL (Stats Related)

Dear CCBILL;

Several months ago you asked about what you could do to your stats to make them better for your affiliates.

Well, the best thing you could do is make them faster to display. I can go to just about any sponsor (Paycom's affiliate program included) and ask for 6 months and data and only have to wait about 5 seconds for it to pop up.

With your system it will NOT pop up at all and it will error out instead.

I just asked it for 2 months of data and it took about 30 seconds or so to give it to me. I asked for another 2 months and it errored out. After 5 more tries I finally got the data but it took at least a minute to pop up, maybe more.

This shit is frustrating. It makes me NOT want to research my stats and see where my sales are coming from. It makes me want to use NATS teen sponsors because your CCBILL affiliate program ones stats are retarded.

Can you please work on making the stats take less time?

If only ccbill-only sponsors would start using inhouse stats so you wouldn't have to log in to affiliateadmin to see where your sales come from but still get your checks directly from ccbill *cough*

Same issue with them.

Ohh.. and here is an analogy to help you see my point.

Back in 1996 when you turned on your computer it took about 3 to 5 minutes to boot. So you went and got a cup of coffee or some shit. You expected this time limit and you planned for it. Turn on the computer FIRST, then go "multi-task" by doing something else in the meantime.

In 2007 when I turn on my computer it is ready in 40 seconds. If I leave it on it is ready in 5 seconds. When I use a Photoshop filter on a large image it takes seconds, not minutes like 1996 did for the same task.

My computer has 2 CPUs. It has a 800Mhz front side bus. It has all sorts of faster shit in it. Things that used to take minutes or had a noticeable lag time no longer do.

My stats in 2007 should be the same.

I wanted to see where my sales came from since the beginning of the year. It took over a minute to show me the number of sales, then when I click on a specific affiliate it takes a few seconds to show me their data. Breaking down by URL's takes a lot of time.

All this adds up quick and pretty soon I am looking at 15 minutes to do something that should have taken 2.

wow my laptop still takes a good 3-5 minutes

I just had a thought....

I get this slow time with a small amount of sales... Like as in at most I do 3 to 5 in a good day... (I pretty much stick to anything not CCBILL affiliate program affiliated)

I could not imagine what it would be like to be a program owner with 100 sales a day and 3000 affiliates... You guys must really have a frustrating time dealing with your stats!

ccbill are working on a new system now, here's hoping that it doesn't have that problem.

I really hope to see a report for 1 year.
