Myspace private profiles? WTF!

Anyone know how to find out what's on a private profile on myspace?

I keep getting this link in my damn traffic stats.

must be hot linking

what i did when some dick head that that i put a big 1280x 1024 + size pic of 2 gay guys having anal sex

as a antihotlink

and when his mates when to it they gave him hell for being gay + a few days later myspace closed his account

also you should tell myspace they using copyright pics etc so they will close the account they a good like that
work for me a few times

try google cache... use to work, haven't tried it lately

spacedog 03-10-2007 08:10 AM

It can't be hotlinking because I have it disabled via .htaccess

as far as cache goes, google can't cache it either if it's private.. same reason google can't cache a paysite members area.

Based on the link, it looks like the traffic is coming from the comments page on someone's picture.

This is the guy's profile: http://www.myspace.com/frankie_clovers

Add him, and if he accepts you, you can see where the link comes from.

I suspect someone got around your htaccess because it doesn't seem likely that a link in a comment on that guy's profile would drive significant traffic to you.

Thanks for the info..

It's not significant at all, but enough to make it noticeable

All you have to do is create a profile, fake or use your real one if you have one, and submit a friend request. Usually the private profiles will accept you, and then walah, your in.

joyboner on some other geeky site (it had geek in the url i think) had ways to view private profiles and all kinds of myspaz hacks.

replace hotlinked stuff with the video at http://www.myspace.com/kamloopsmusic

that's not true - there are lots of mainstream sites that allow google indexing but disallow direct access or google caching :2 cents:

--edit nevermind. Caching and indexing are two different things... thought you meant spidering/indexing
