Traffic trading script

It's probably just me being dumb but I can't get the hang of CJUltra at all - whatever I put in the settings, it still sends out more hits than I get in. I'm pumping traffic into my site and the script is sending it all out to partners who send none back! :(

Can anyone recommend another product? I don't mind paying. (Actually I would rather pay than give away a % of my traffic.)

General consensus seems to be these two are the best.

if you can't get CJ Ultra to work - i don't suggest you buying an expensive script.

CJUltra is free and very usefull.

Your script is supposed to send out hits. The problem lies not with the script, but with your crappy trade partners. Or else you're sending out tons of garbage traffic.

Why? It's only useful if it does what I want and it doesn't at the moment. I need help to set it up but it's free so there's no real support. I'd rather pay and have the support.

My traffic is extremely productive on my own site and it converts really well (for TGP traffic) when I send it to affiliate programs, so I don't think it's garbage traffic.

The problem is probably that I'm trading with small sites that don't have enough traffic to send back. I therefore need the script to limit the amount I send them - so they are able to reciprocate. But whatever I do to the settings it still sends them more than they send me. Example...

xxxxx.com R In: 23 / U In: 19 / U Out: 34 / Clicks: 12 Productivity: 53%

I bet there is just one setting I need to change, but I can't find it. Any ideas?

yah well, guess what - i just made a new site and it had a feed of 1k a day. After 5 days the site is 5k-6k on CJUltra

go figure

From what I have seen, TM3 Kicks some serious ass, right now it's, IMHO, at the top, both in the traffic it can drive, and in the way it makes your site jump (I've seen 20k-30k jumps overnight, a couple times, right after installation)

it's worth every single cent it costs (which isn't that much anyway)

Scroll up... What's happening is that it sends twice as many clicks to my partners as they send to me. I can't find anything in the docs to explain it. I'm sure I just have a setting wrong but I've tried changing everything and nothing seems to help.

I like Cj Ultra. I dont use it anymore, but when I did it was fun.

if you want another FREE script that won't send to inactive trades unless you force to them check out my sign ;)

DarkJedi 08-08-2002 10:51 AM

first of all it is normal if the script sends a bit more to the trades than they send to you (it just looks so in the script)

but if the trade doesnt not send you traffic at all - delete it.

you should have a lot of trades - about 15. Leave the ones with good productivity % and delete the ones that dont send anything back or have bad productivity

you can ICQ me - 30144710 and i can take a look at it.

Productivity has to do alot with the 2-sites trading.

Site A's design is different than Site B's.

Site A's scipt is diff then Site B's.

Site A's is doing 20k a day & Site B is doing 1k.

Theres so many different factors that can cause a traffic fluctuation that its mind boggling.

Now then..as the the scripts.....

I know several people using tm3 that have had great luck & one other person that has had a horrible time so far with it. Also Cjultra isn't the only free script on the market....

here are a few you should look at that are free

#1 - http://www.cjultra.com
#2 - http://www.lanaspowertools.com
#3 - http://nfso.multitraffic.com/eng.html
#4 - http://www.strict-cj.com/

Don't ever limit yourself to one option, build several site's & try all of them. Talk to website owners & ask them about their usefullness, problems etc. And don't ever rely on one board to tell you what to buy :thumbsup
