I saw that yesterday.

And my answer is NO.

I'm fine with heights as long as I have something under my ass - like an airline seat. But, looking out over a ledge or windows that are not vertical, for example the ones on the Arch in St Louis, makes me dizzy.

dynastoned 03-09-2007 10:58 AM

sure why not

TigerDragon 03-09-2007 11:02 AM

great pics!!!

jacked 03-09-2007 11:11 AM

i'm scared shitless of heights i'd never walk out on that especially with glass floors lol

stickyfingerz 03-09-2007 11:15 AM

I sub contract as an uprigger for a sound and lighting company sometimes in the summer. Havent done it for awhile, but thinking of doing 1 or 2 days a week just to get the exercise. Im normally 120ft off the stage floor hanging over a beam and pulling up about 80ft of chain that is tied to my rope. You have to walk out on the beam with no tie off very often. So ya I dont think that would scare me much. There is no risk unless they built it wrong, or there is an earthquake. lol

PamiebDVD 03-09-2007 11:22 AM

I'm thinking this one's not for me.

Especially considering most government contracts are awarded to the lowest bidder.

D 03-09-2007 11:33 AM

Hopefully they'll offer bungee jumping off of it at some point. :-D

I'd be all over that!

Sosa 03-09-2007 11:37 AM

oh fuck no

TroubleTonya 03-09-2007 12:57 PM

WOW, I think I'll have to go check that out when they open it. Looks pretty amazing.

You will eat crickets, worms and scorpions, but you want me to believe you won't walk on that?

I don't believe it for a minute.

I would make a special trip there just to walk on it.

Tanya_AWP 03-09-2007 01:06 PM

Why not, I'll give it a try....:)

Maybe you can explain to the class how the phone number in your sig is toll free. It doesn't cost to call Nevada anymore?

polish_aristocrat 03-09-2007 01:23 PM

Its a weird feeling walking on a glass floor that high up. Tried it on the CN Tower here in Toronto, dont know if I'd want to go out on that one though:Oh crap

Brad 03-09-2007 02:20 PM

I was thinking the CN Tower too...I would test my luck on that for sure. It would be a pretty kick ass view

I don't do so good with heights :winkwink: especially when looking down. Looking forward doesn't bother me (when up high)

VeriSexy 03-09-2007 02:33 PM

Nikki_Licks 03-09-2007 05:20 PM

I heard that opening day will cost 75.00 to go on it. I am sure that is in addition to the park entrance fee. It used to be 25 bucks years ago, so who knows how much it is now.

No, I would not walk out on it :) I prefer to see the canyon the way I did as a kid in the late 50's.....sitting on the edge looking across. Times have changed and its next to impossible to do the things you use to be able to.

Brandon99 03-09-2007 05:24 PM

I'd run around it, fuck walking :)

Screaming 03-09-2007 05:40 PM

It's toll free if you live in the Las Vegas area..

I think she should change it to "Las Vegas Toll Free" :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

KustomKowgurl 03-09-2007 05:48 PM

Vegas Ken 03-09-2007 05:54 PM

sicone 03-09-2007 06:05 PM

Spunky 03-09-2007 06:44 PM

It's going to be $25 per person, which sucks. You and your wife, bring your kids, $100 to just stand on a fucking on a piece of plexiglas? Guh, no thanks. I guess the Hualapai Tribe is trying to scalp the white man again, this time their wallets.

inwe 03-09-2007 07:35 PM

no way..
