$5000 to Invest - What to do?
 

OK, I have spared some $5000 to invest -- I want to put them where I can get at least $500 each month with chances to grow more.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

To make $500 per month from a $5000 investment would require you to do it from scratch, no idiot is going to sell something for 10 months of profit.

Good luck with that. the best that you could do, to come close to that, would be in mutual funds. I have severl funds that are returning 18 and 23% quarterly.
