Looking for sites that match investors with business ideas

Can anyone suggest a couple of URL's for some sites where I can post a business plan to raise some investment money.

Looking to raise about EUR500,000 and I'd rather have a lot of little investors than one big one.

I'm sure there are tonnes of sites that do something like this, I just can't find them.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Investors aren't something you want lots of, the transaction costs and legal work would take a nice chunk from that sum. Plus investors are usually pretty annoying, and the smaller the investor the more they will bug you, so a lot of your time will be going towards kissing their ass and explaining why they haven't become rich yet.

If it's a good idea and you are experienced in the field then VC funding is a better option.

I'm working on the VC route as well. It's an adult related service, so those I've spoken with so far aren't interested.

Most of the firms wont openly fund an adult firm, your best bet is to continue contacting them until a partner/employee strikes a liking to your idea and sets up the funding externally.

However the adult part is the least of your problems, the fact that you have a service idea is a bigger problem. Service based businesses only receive cash injections, they wont fund your idea from the start unless you have a proven VC track record, which you do not have. As services do not hold patents the idea is only as good as the execution.
