My cat has this ungodly obsession with laying in my lap while I'm at the comp. If I don't let him lay in my lap he will lay directly atop my keyboard so at the slightest hint of movement, he can open his eyes and see what i'm doing. To make matters even worse, when I do let him lay in my lap he *hugs* me, one arm around each side of my waist. :helpme

anyone else get this kind of obsession?

Yup, my cat is worse. He follows me around the house everywhere I go. Sits on my lap when I'm on my comp (don't mind most of the times). Cats are conceited.

All of the above,plus she likes to sit directly in front of the monitor while I'm trying to work.:(

When i used to sell vacuum cleaners, i went to this see this lady who was on welfare. She had a cat who was so fat he couldn't get up so she put him on a little blanket and lifted him with all 4 corners of it to carry him around. When i told her her cat was obviously too fat, she would be in complete denial. Fuckin crazy welfarians

my cat has way too much going on to ever consider sitting on my lap. i don't think he is a cuddler and even after a year with him, he doesn't let me pet his tummy at all and the rest of him only when he is interested.

Is it true Koreans eat cats?

Does he watch the mouse pointer as it moves across the screen and try and swat at it? I've seen cats do that. Some of them like to sit on top of the monitor, hold themselves there with their back two feet, and hang the rest of the body over the front of the monitor and swat at anything that moves with their front two paws. I think it's hilarious.

We have 3. Fortunately they don't spend too much time bothering us at the computers. They are too busy snuggling on the sofa most of the time.
