Another Ales vs Lager Beer Thread

Yeah Im drinking tonight....

Every once in awhile I crave a thick Guiness, more often some St Pauli's or Sapphoro.

Right now... Heineken and Becks tonight.

Going to give "Brewing" a chance here shortly and make a couple barrels of some brew, hopefully it doesnt explode hahaha

Anyone ever brew anything?

From what I read its hard as hell, but looks fun.... possibly dangerous?

I wanna throw a party and see how many of my friends I can get seriously hurting on some homeade beer... the thought of it sounds nasty... hahaha

who knows what I may be capable of mixin up.

This is an easy one to use: http://www.beermachine.com/

Got a couple of friends in Napa really into homebrewing. They do all kinds of funky shit and devote large amounts of time and space to it, but the recommended the beer machine to me as a good starter brewery.

I learned from one of the best brewmasters in southern ca. (Keith Hinkle of "shrine of the brew god" in costa mesa, ca.

I used to work in a micro brewery/restraunt as well.

you dont want to use those cheezy kits. Do it right or dont do it at all. If you want cheap beer, buy natural light.

lol, it ain't THAT bad. I actually made a servicable imitation of Gordon Biersch Dunkles dark ale with my trusty beer machine.

Your options with it are rather limited though..
