nice nice

theres a belgium company who has something simular, Ive seen it long ago, its like $400 the software, tracks where ppl click where they go.

This isnt as detailed but sure has some interesting options.

Excellent. I'll definitely throw this up on some of my site.

DutchTeenCash, if you know the name of the software please post it.

If you want to use a service for this instead of hosting it on your site, try, crazyegg(dot)com

Interesting idea. I've been meanining to implement something vaguely similar on a thumb TGP, to see if the surfers are clicking on a specific part of the image.

From ad testing and web page testing it's known the western eye travels basically in a counterclockwise circle from top left to top right. This tells you where it stops along that path. I will install this....

wow this crazyegg.com is great. heat mapping photo galleries is very illuminating......

If a user has to scroll the page, it doesn't give a representative of where on you page the click was... only the screen. Don't see what useful info can be gotten from it, except left/right/center frame clicks

I use a heatmap service when I'm split testing landing pages. It works quite well and can give you quite a bit of insight in to the user's mind...

Both IE and Mozilla/FF can report the position of the portion of the document that is displayed on the screen, so it should be relatively easy to add an absolute x,y click to the relative position in the document.
