If I owned a cat, yes. Of course only if the laptop was rigged to electrocute the fucking furry feline fleshbag as soon as it’s mangy paws touched it. Then I’d be sure to invite all the neighborhood cats to play on it as well.

My Bengals, when they were kittens, loved to chase the mouse pointer on my LCD monitor screen. Their claws are S-H-A-R-P, but they never actually did any harm to the monitor. I just let 'em play and they seemed to enjoy it.
