Decided to go for a drive and a short hike today. Shot this along the way. I'm going to have to shoot it again next fall for better colors but it's OK I guess.

I don't feel I'm being too critical of myself. For one, if you don't criticize your own stuff then you will never improve....However, in this case, I am criticising mother nature and the time of year. Having the red and orange colors of fall in that shot would be much better than all the brown that is there now...which, incidentally, are the very same leaves but after 4 to 5 months of decay.
Timing is everything.....I'll wait and shoot it better in 7 months.
