How do I block the banner on top in Firefox?

I've always been fine with the banner ads and can even take a little sound. But the boxing one is just too annoying, especially when I'm listening to music or on the phone.

Is there an easy way to block out the big banner ad on top in Firefox? It sucks for the regular sponsors on top, but it's just gotten to a point that it's a hassle to surf GFY.
