Seriously every single day now i get one call at least.

so i gave to the Police assosciation..taking young kids to baseball and hockeygames etc.

fine no worries about giving old clothes away.

but damn...i dont need to get calls everyday...these people are aggressive

Change your phone number

the more you give the more lists you get put on. i get the same its unreal. now i just tell them, you call me i don't give. you approach me at a store, i don't give. if i am going to give, i am going to do it on my own. i don't need people telling me to.

If you have an Am Express card (especially if you have gold or plat) you get listed quite well with all of the charities :) - Caused me to cut mine up and cancel after 35 years with one when I figured out who was selling mail and phone lists

I always tell people who ask for money that I'm unemployed, what other person would be home on a weekday during the day. Usually makes them feel bad, they apologize and wish me luck.

I just called the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society a bit pissed off. My family donates $10k every year and I went to the Dinner Casino night on Saturday. while there i bought another $400 in chips and filled out a donation card. I put my office # on there and so far I've gotten 4 calls since Monday from Cancer foundations looking for money. I told them I'm going to give my money to another organization if my info is shared again . That's not cool

The worst thing is they pay the guy 10 bucks an hour for 8 hours shift, and most of theses guys raise like $200 in a day.

Then management and stuff and other business expenses get paid, and there is nothing left.
