Most Common Cookie Duration For Click Stats?

what's the standard length of a cookie used to determine a Unique visitor in this industry? 4 hours? 8 hours? 12 hours? 24 hours?

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

I've never heard of webstats considering anything besides a 24 hour period as "unique"...
