Led Zep would have been fantastic.

Violetta 03-06-2007 04:43 AM

Tool last summer... Wish I had the chance to see Led. But I will try my best to see AC/DC

sweetcuties 03-06-2007 04:51 AM

Metallica in the 80's
Kanye West last yr

Tat2Jr 03-06-2007 04:53 AM

I saw Marilyn Manson before his first album came out in a tiny club. Crazy ass show. Broke a beer bottle over his head and started cutting himself open. Sounded great, and a true showman.

Best live band ever - The Toadies. Opening up for The Butthole Surfers. And a close second was The Pixies opening up for Primus and Janes Addiction. God damn The Pixies were tight on that tour.

D 03-06-2007 04:56 AM

Sting back in '91 was pretty kickass. Saw him a year or two ago, and he's since turned Divo.

BB King a couple of years ago... the man's confined to a chair, but he still knows how to put on a show.

I heard Tool's a great show, but the lead singer spends the entire concert with his back to the audience?

en21 03-06-2007 05:07 AM

Robie William... just before he went into rehab

Crasy Bitch 03-06-2007 05:07 AM

Metallica, and Guns'n roses

r-c-e 03-06-2007 05:21 AM

I had the pleasure of seeing George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars a year or two ago, by far the best show I've seen. Three hours on the funk train.

I saw Mogwai last year and was also blown away, much smaller gig but their sound is just so huge when its live.

Marie 03-06-2007 05:30 AM

Bruce Springsteen two years ago. I am not a fan, but he was just awesome.

kristin 03-06-2007 05:33 AM

That One Guy ( http://that1guy.com or http://myspace.com/that1guy )
Suicidal Tendencies

Am hoping to Add the Slayer/Mastodon and Lamb of God gigs I'll be attending in April to that list. I have a feeling they will be incredible.

Evil E 03-06-2007 06:00 AM

Bad Religion warped tour 98(outside) if i recall correctly.
De la Soul/Black Sheep 2001 medium venue
System of a Down Bell Center 2005
Children of Bodom/Trivium/Amon Amarth 2005 medium venue

My best shows list suck :o

Evil E 03-06-2007 06:01 AM

I was also at a very small blood 4 blood show that rocked.

Show that sucked the most: HIM... fucking boring

I saw lamb of god on the gigantour. Megadeth was pretty redundant... Lamb of God was the best band on that tour.

Holy crap! I was at that concert! Last show at Madison Sq Garden, in the nose bleed seats. What really PISSED me off, is someone threw a cherry bomb up on stage and it hit Jimmy Page! NO ENCORES!

Oracle Porn 03-06-2007 06:17 AM

Live Shpongle for me :)

Lee 03-06-2007 06:19 AM

Floyd, Stones and Tool. My one big wish is that RATM would reform as I would fly anywhere in the world fo the chance to see them play live :(

hzoltan 03-06-2007 07:06 AM

De La Soul - 2003
Method Man & Redman - coming this friday :)
Prodigy - 2006
Freestylers - 2005

Sexsitesurfer 03-06-2007 07:13 AM

Metallica have been the best by far because the music is so awesome and the show is great.

Robbie Williams was better than I expected.

GnR were good for the atmosphere but Axl's voice dies in concert, even back in the day.

Festivals are better than concerts and the Sziget Festival in Budapest is cool, so if you get a chance check it out!

Sid70 03-06-2007 07:20 AM

Hyde Park, London, July 2 2005, all the UK cool bands including Keen, Coldplay, Sting and 'my luv' Ann Lennox :)

mandrake 03-06-2007 07:21 AM

meatloafs final concert in melbourne a few years back and prior to that metallicas black album tour

teg0 03-06-2007 07:37 AM

In the 90s...

The Smashing Pumpkins with Garbage as the opener

That was a damn good show. It was right after Garbage's first album and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

Amadora 03-06-2007 08:03 AM

Mylen Farmer. The sound was perfect and show was also very nice.

Brad 03-06-2007 08:42 AM

Pearl Jam at Molson Park in 1998. They played for 3 hours straight and anyone that's seen them live knows that Eddie Vedder has one of the best male live voices (not just now, but ever). He has incredible range, projection, and power.

And they just put on a good show. No fluff, straight playing good songs and the crowd really helps too. They really get into it, it's one band I will pay any amount to see because I know I am always getting my money's worth.

XMaster 03-06-2007 09:04 AM

Roy Hargrove & the RH factor.

Jman 03-06-2007 09:06 AM

Guns 'n Roses! use your illusion tour

LiveDose 03-06-2007 09:56 AM

Journey, Beastie Boys, Billy Joel, Lenny Kravitz.

Aneros Josh 03-06-2007 09:59 AM

Metallica is great in concert

Aerosmith is good because you forget all the hits they actually have until you see them and catch yourself singing along to everything

Tom Petty is pretty much like Aerosmith

I think the best concert I've been to from a overall experience standpoint was the Beastie Boys

american pervert 03-06-2007 10:02 AM

jane's addiction reunion at the first cochella
black crows with jimmy page at the greek theater
santana at the hollywood bowl for his supernatural abum

Odie 03-06-2007 10:11 AM

I know you're all going to laugh at me but I recently saw Justin Timberlake and he was incredible. The stage set up was fantastic as no seat was a bad seat. (the stage was set in the center). He also puts on a great show.

Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Madonna and U2 are also absolutely amazing live.

Sick Bastard 03-06-2007 10:12 AM

U2 at Slane Castle in Ireland was right up there.

SB

RawAlex 03-06-2007 10:13 AM

Frank Zappa three times. I miss him greatly.

I saw them around the same time, and I'm a HUGE fan... but you know what? I thought the concert was a little dissapointing. I wanted Zach to inspire me to boycott whitey (I'm white!) or bomb a Wal-Mart or something Rageful, but instead we got a by-the-numbers show. WHICH, was a great thing; just not totally-unfuckin'-real status.

pussy cat dolls concert for me :thumbsup

Linkster 03-06-2007 11:27 AM

Jimi Hendrix playing on stage with Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley - that rocked - it was at G Wash Univ in DC during the moratorium marches against the VN war
That show probably impressed me the most - but there have been loads of others - the colleges in DC when I was in mylate teens were always having outdoors live concerts so J Taylor, Procul Harem, Grateful Dead, Little Richard and on and on
In Hawaii, we used to have crater concerts for New years and the 4th of July in Diamondhead Crater - the best I saw there (and I was backstage moving amps and equip for the sound system) was Fleetwood Mack, Flo and Eddie, Robin Trower(of course he had to do the wake up thing like Hendrix the second morning), Canned Heat and tons of other acts

polle54 03-06-2007 11:29 AM

This is quite gay but my utmost best experience was robbie w.

He is such a gifted entertainer.

I also saw clawfinger when they were hot and that was pretty neat as well. In a total different way though.

Metalsound 03-06-2007 11:29 AM

311 Concerts

Gnus 03-06-2007 11:29 AM

The best concert I went to was Aerosmith with Jackyl opening for them. Awesome concert.
