Do you think your a leader or a follower?

Many people might think of themselves as a leader but yet follow others allot throughout their everyday lives....i wonder if those who might lead themselves would do better or even feel better about themselves of their accomplishments?

I always strive not to follow others or copy their steps cause that feeling of doing something of your own mind is hell of a better feeling at the end than an idea of another person. When you follow someone and accomplish whatever you do, you don't feel like a winner, you still feel like a loser or you feel like you never even accomplished it after all....

One that will not apply new remedies must expect new evils, for time is the greatest innovator.

Discuss please....what do you think?

porno jew 03-04-2007 11:52 PM

leader obviously.

SleazyDream 03-04-2007 11:57 PM

option c -rebel :2 cents:

SomeCreep 03-05-2007 12:06 AM

Leadollower, because there are times when it is wisest to lead and times when it is most advantageous to follow.

Sly 03-05-2007 12:10 AM

I think we're all a little of both.

Didn't you start an affiliate program at one point? You certainly were not the first. Does that make you a loser?

Personally I think the whole "winner"/"loser" schtick is beyond pathetic. "Be a winner!"

no it's just his grade 4 level writing skills.

he's trying to say "not a or b, but c, and option c is rebel."

Generally a leader...it's in the blood as an Aries. I have a very hard time following "orders", I'd rather give the orders myself.

emthree 03-05-2007 01:53 AM

Follower I guess. I like to see other people make the mistakes first.

TeenCat 03-05-2007 02:10 AM

im the founder of fuckinggood.net which is growing every day and my friend is starting helping me with content filling from today, so i think about me as a leader? :winkwink: thanks for this nice thread, my ego goes uupppp... :thumbsup

Mike Semen 03-05-2007 04:34 AM

Neither. I am the lone wolf that prowls the edges of society picking off the sick and weak.

... or something.

i think i am both... following the leader and leading the following....

jayeff 03-05-2007 06:34 AM

People may be leaders to a greater or lesser extent, but it is impossible not to be a follower too. Because our genetics have us pegged as communal creatures, a social structure which demands many more indians than chiefs, on balance the vast majority must be followers.

The corollary of which is that it is as foolish to feel proud if one is generally recognized as a leader, as it is to feel ashamed if one is a follower. Both states are determined just as surely as eye or hair color.

Tanya_AWP 03-05-2007 06:37 AM

A little of both..To be a leader you must first be a good follower..:)

wyldworx 03-05-2007 06:49 AM

I am a trend setter. I make things look good. No matter how bad it may seem to be, my presence is often followed by many shadows. I do not want to be either, but ones destiny cannot be illuded forever now, can it.

DaddyMustang 03-05-2007 06:53 AM

everyone has been at least once both

Jakke PNG 03-05-2007 06:55 AM

Depends how you look at it. I do not follow fashion. I don't care what people say or talk. I make 100% of the money in my family, so no living off someone else, or depending on anyone else (sort of, I pay my wife salary) though.
So..in personal life I am not a follower, however I don't consider a leader either. I don't hang around people enough for them to start copying or doing my bidding, except my wife and she's my employee :)

...in business. Well, I'm probably more of a follower. I don't have too many 100% original ideas, and those that I do have are implemented by someone else before I get started with my version. hah. :)

I'd like to think I'm neither.:)

CyberHustler 03-05-2007 06:58 AM

I'm just hard headed and stubborn...

alexanderv 03-05-2007 07:44 AM

It depends largely on a situation. It is impossible to be a leader or a follower only.

There has been a research: they put people in different discussion groups and naturally in every group there were about 5 % of "leaders". Then they got these "leaders" into another several discussion groups and there were another 5% of leaders. Finally they gathered people who proved to be "the best" in terms of leadership into one group. And guess what... among them there were only 5% of "leaders"

that proves that every person is either a leader or a follower depending on a situation.

Vick! 03-05-2007 07:51 AM

No can be totally one of these. I mostly lead, but where I am lack of knowledge, I don't feel ashame to follow. But ya, I start leading in that area very quickly. I got much of guts ;)

Drake 03-05-2007 09:40 AM

More of an Independent than anything else.

carol.prime 03-05-2007 09:44 AM

In order to be a leader, you must be a good follower.
I am both in many ways.

hzoltan 03-05-2007 10:00 AM

I don't know... I ask my buddy, he'll tell me who am I :)

Klen 03-05-2007 10:12 AM

Yes, very true i also believe everyone has been both especially in the early stages of life....

And yes i did own a great affiliate program at one time, these were the 380 + sites i used to own since 1994 :-).... I know i wasnt the first but yes i can say i didnt feel a satisfied winner of innovation by choice...although i still tried to come up with my own ideas within the program...

gimilin 03-09-2007 02:22 AM

I am afriad that i am a follower, but some times when i feel good,i am really want to do something,in that case i just feel that i am a leader,i am the king of the world:)

Amadora 03-09-2007 07:47 AM

I think i am a follower, because if i stood on my own all the time and try to dictate others in my familly what to do, i would have lost my familly long ago.
